'The Parliamentary Eepre.sentation (Expeditionary Forces}* Adjustment Bill was received from the House of Representatives, read a second time pro forma, and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. FINANCE BILL. An amendment to the Finance Bill was received from the Houso of Represenla'bUli FRANCIS BELL said that the amoudment extended to small, debeutim.holders the concession already made lo small shareholders. The Commissioner of Taxes was given power to refund income tax in tho case of a. debentureholder whose income from all sources did nut exceed .£3OO per year. Tho amendment was adopted. The Council adjourned at 3.5 p.m. until Tuesday next.
