v Tho Wellington branch of the KenZealand Educational Institute met last evening. .Mr. A. M'lCenzio presided. It was decided to repeat last ycsir'e sretem of sending parcels to soldiers. The Auckland branch asked that now that the Second Division, was being called up the Government should bo asked to mako teachers' military pay equal to their civil pay. The North Canterbury branch asked support for a resolution that the Dominion teachers ehonld pcCition Parliament for a Dominion scale of sick pay., similar to that in force in tho Public Service. The Managing Conimitco was instructed to bring up a remit for the approval of tho branch.
