TUe Wimmera is duo this morning fromLyttelton, and wiU'reccive ci\rso and sail at 4 p.m. for Napier. Gisborne. and Auckland. The vessel will berth at No. 1 south Queen's WTiarf. The Hegulus arrived last night from Picton. She is advertised to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Nelsoii. Westport, and Greymonth.
The Kokiri arrived last night from Greymouth with a, part cargo of coal and 45.000 ft. of timber. The vessel'will receive cargo hero and sail on Saturday evenine for New Plymouth. Tile new steamer Torca, which lias bceii built for the Gisborno Farmers' Freezing; 00. by Messrs. JV. H. Brown and Sons, of Auckland was handed over to the owners last She Is at present loading cargo for Gisborne, anff is expected tTT sail today. The Torea has been built for work in the fiisborne roadstead, and has been Biiecially* , stveßKtheneS for lhat purpose. On her trial {rip she did nine knots. OanTifin Probert has arrived in Auckland- to take the vessel to Gisborne.
The Tainui is due this morning from Lyttelton. She will load general cargo for Timaru, and sail this evening, returning here on Sunday. On Monday the vessel will leave for Oamaru.
The Blackball Coal Company's N»ahere left Greymonth at 6.35 p.m. yesterday for Wellington. '

MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Oaptain K. 11. Neville, who recently retired on superannuation from the Union Steain Ship Company's service, is at present id Wellington. Ifr. J. Ritchie, engineer of tlio Huia, has eomo ashore, and his place will bo taken by Mr. if. E. Daniels, second engineer of the Baden Powell. Mr. A. Nelson has signed on the- Kamona, as third mate. The Hazel Kepton is to come round to the wharves to-day, to load general cargo for Lyttelton. She-is to sail to-morrow. , Tho John was yesterday loading cement at Tarakohc for Lyttelton and Timaru. She will leave New Plyjuouth to-day on the return trip. The Mapourika arrived at Greymoutli at 10 a.m. yesterday from Wellington, and was to have left at 6 p.m. for Westport, Nelson, and Wellington. The colliers Kamona and Komata, which left for Greymouth and Westpnn respectively last evening, will load again for Weilington.
