Eibot arises from their demand that the Allies should publish all treaties, and so make an end of Becret diplomacy, and announce their conditions for a lasting peaoo, free of all annexations. The Socialists also demand that civil delegates should be sent with the various armies ■to represent the Government. The other demands include State exploitation of national resources. The government should be endowed with extensive powers for the acquisition of articles required for war. Tho unreasonable naturo of many of the Socialist demands has aroused anger in political circles.
