The Union Company's fine cargo stef nicr Wairuna, which has been missin Bince May 30, has now been given up a lost, and a Magisterial inquiry will b held into the seaworthiness of the vesse and, to collect the names of the officer and crew. It will be remembered tha the Wairuna left Auckland on May 31 1917, for San Francisco, and that no wor of her has since Deen received. The Union Company's collier Kokiri was loaulug at Greymouth yesterday and was to have left last night for Wellington. From this port the vessel will take caiuo to Nelson and New Plymouth. The Tarawera is to leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttclton and Dunt'din. The vessel is due here on Sunday, and will leave on Monday at 5 p.m., taking cargo for both southern ports. The Karu went on the patent slip yesterday to have her overhaul completed. ' The Putiki proceeded from Oiima.ru to Wanganui- and left that port at 4 p.m. yesterday for Wellington. She is duo hero to-day. Tho Ngahore: on arrival at Greymoiilh. will load again, for Wellington. Tho Blackball Coal Company's Btcaracr Ngatoro is due about noon 10-dny from Whangarei with a cargo of cement. She is advertised to sail to-night for Dunedit; and Bluff, receiving cargo ' until 2 p.m.
