WEARNE ACQUITTED. By Telegraph —Press Association. Auckland, September 11. A private cablegram to a t dative states that Reginald Wearne, who when attacked by strikers in Sydney lulled ono striker and wounded another, has been acquitted by tho Court on the ground that he acted in self-defence.
