Tho "Morning Post's" Shanghai correspondent states that the Entente Ministers have agreed to China's request that the Customs duty b© lhnde effective, at 5 per cent., aud to postpone the payment of the Boxer indemnity for five years, Eussia, however, only postponing tlio payment of one-third of her indemnity. Tho Powers also agree that Chinese troops shall be stationed at places which were forbidden in the Boxer Protocol.—Aus.-N,Z. Cablo Assn.
