PRAYER FOR PEACE
DURING THE SYDNEY STRIKE. The Archbishop of Syilnoy (Dr. Wright) authorised the following prayer fw tho strike emergency, to be used in Anglican churches as the clergy might desire, liiu Grace said' that he owed it-to the courtesy of tho Bishop of Goulburn:"Oh God, Who art the lather of all, and who alone makest men to bo of one hi ind man house, we beseech rheo at tliis time of strife and unrest to grant to all citizens of .this State mid Commonwealth by tho indwelling of rhy Hol.\ Spirit a fuller realisation of their brotherhood, man with mau, its all sons of Tliino* remove all misunderstandings ai,d d&T«"d and bitteniess and dwnen in us all a some of truth ana juJcc in our dealings one with Mother, for the sake of Jesus Christ Thy Son our Lord. Amen."
