EASTBOURNE SOCIAL CLUB

A largely-attended meeting of tastbourne residonts was hold in tlio Council Chambers on. Monday evening. It was unanimously decided to form a bociai Club. The mombership will embrace both'women, and men. The object ot tho club is to prbmote good fellowship, provide rational entertainments, cncourace art, arid assist in patriotic movements. Tho following officers were ejected :-President, Mr. H. W. Sliortt; vicepicsidents, Messrs. I'. Levi, W. Bennett, and A. Walker; committee, Mcsdames Peai'ce, Page, Cimino, and Miss Young, Messrs. W. Powell, G. Warner, H. JJowns, and W. Stephen; secretary, Mr- C- A. Marquis; treasurer, Mr. J._ 1.- oliana, musical conductor, Mr. S. oimino.
