EX-EMPEROR'S ARMY ROUTED. ' London, September 7. After a fierce battle near Dessie, the army of tho ex-Emperor Lidj Yassou was routed, and his best generals were killed. A report that Lidj Yassou was shot while escaping is not confirmed.—Renter.
