The Government Statistician states (hat since tlio publication of the Tenth Ballot Gazette evidence has been produced showing that 58,093, John Edwin Fergusson, farm manager, of HalcDtube, voluntarily offered himself for strvice, therefore "his name should have been "starred." 56,275, Samuel Blackley, Reneral manager, of 10 Blair Street, Wellington, is now a lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corps.
