LADIES' ASSOCIATION. The Wellington Ladies' Hockey Association have arranged a scries of matcncs with Canterbury, Alauawatu, and Wairarapa, which will bo played iu Wellington during til© present week. The proceeds will bo given to the Sports CWJstmas Gift Fund. The tournament will start on Wednesday, September a, with \\ airarapa v. Manawatu; on Thursday, uth Canterbury v. Mnnawatu aud Wairarapa v. Wellington; Friday, 7<tli, Canterbury 'v. Wairarapa. All the above games wiU be played on the Basin Reserve. On baturday the final game, Canter Wry v. Wellington, with a view of helping the I art I'und, will be played at Athletic Park. The seleitor has chosen the following team to represent Wellington:—llisses i\. Lang (Ramblers), J.
