THE LIQUOR BILL
FOR CONSIDERATION TO-DAY. The Bill dealing with the liquor question hns not yot received the consideration of Cabinet. Other business occupied the Ministers on Saturday, but the luquor Bill is likely to come before CabJnot to-day. It is considered that the oponinjr hour for hotels will bo fixed at 9 o-m. The closing- hour decided on by tho Government will not bo named certainly until the Bill reaches the House, but there are indications that tho hour will not be earlier than, 7 p-m., and not later than 8 p.m. Some of the lobby prophets, after weighing the chanccs and pricking cards, say that 7.30 p.m. is tho likely hour. ' It is certain that whatever hour the Government names in the Bill tho House will be divided by the partisans on one side or the other. But an alteration after tho Bill has been introdnoed is not considered probable. Many members are prepared to let the Government take the responsibility of decision.
