YESTEBDAY'S RESOLUTIONS,

The annual conference of the Post and Telegraph Officers* Association vas con* tionod yesterday. The conference passed a resolution endorsing tho action of tii6 cxeoutivo in entering a vigorous protest against the treatment meted out to Mr. Soofct. This matter conference looks upon a« an unwarrantable interference with tho civil rights of Tha conference also asks for a public judicial preferably at Hamilton. Other resolutions carried were:—
