PROCEEDINGS CONCLUDED. (Rec, August 30, 7.45 p.m.) London,' August 29. The Socialist Conference has conoluded. Tho official report says that the Commission's report was supported generally by I'rance, Britain, Italy, | Portugal, and ltussia, while South Africa, Belgium, and a majority of the French opposed it. As unanimity was not reached, the report was merely recorded.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. THE STOCKHOLM MEETING. London, August 29. Tho Allied Socialist Conference defeated, by 55 votes to 4, a motion not ■to send delegates to Stockholm while Germany occupies Allied territory—Router.
