Mr. Massey is now waiting for a den'nito statement from tho Imperial Government. The cause of Hie ' delay seem* to bo the change Unit has ■ recently tiikcn place in the office of the food controller. -Up to tho present the Imperial authorities have not made '- known their wishes and intentions. Mr. Massey cannot settle the iuatte.r until he knows exactly what they' -are prepared to do. When that information is available the matter will be considered by Cabinet, and the decision arrived at will bo communicated to the representatives of the producers, in. order that, a satisfactory solution may ,be reached as won as possible.' Arrangements regarding the ohoeso-output-are-in -much the same position. • '
