HOUSE WRECKED BY EXPLOSION

A , house- at Tiebury, a few miles from Invercargill, which was being prepared lor tho reception of a couplo about to bo married, was completely wrecked by an explosion of gelignite, which was stored in tlio house in anticipation ot stumping operations. A painter working on the verandah nt tho time received a severe shock, from which it will tako somo time to recover.
