Tho new Commandant's offices and camp headquarters wliich ore in course of construction will be completed, and in occupation next week. Tho buildiiiK is situated close to tue camp ?ntt3 aud faces towards the camp, with tho liuspital block on the right. A verandah runs along the front of the building, and lawns are boing laid out aud shrubs planted, fio that with the prr;.inds already laid out in front of the hospitals a pleasant shrubbery and garden will bo provided. Tho interior of the building has been designed for fast and efficient working by the clerical staff, the main oifaco being in tho centre of tho building, with a passage on throo sides of n- < £<= Commandant's 100 m and rooms for the first and second adjutants are lit '-ne end of tho building, while at tho other are tho investigating officer's <ind tho camp sergeant-major's offices. Both inside and out the now .headquarters offices present a neat and well-finished appearance. 1110 fiwniehiug will bo in keeping, and a noticeablo feature is the excellent lighting in all tho rooms.
