Tho British Socialist Party has prepared a statement for submission to tho Inter-Allied Socialist Conference next week. It calls on the workers to intervene and brinj* the war to a epeedy conclusion; to utiiiso *-he economio ami political situation to bring about a transition from capitalism to co-operation; to domand peace without annexation or iu. demnity; that reparation be made from a common fund under international control to which all belligerents should contribute. The manifesto also declares that tho restoration of Belgium is essential to peace; that Alsace-Lorraine should determine its own Government, and also Poland and Armenia, while- the Balkans should form a confederation. Turkey should have Mesopotamia, and Germany should Tegain her colonies. The manifesto opposes economic interference with German trade, and declares hostility to tariff barriers. It favours a League of Nations to determine disputes— Aus.-N.Zi. Cablo Assn.
