British official: Since April 9 the British' have' captured 36,135 Germans, the French haTO captured 43)722, tho Italians have captured. 40,681, chiefly Austrians, and' tho Russians have captured 37,221, chiefly Austrians. The British have taken prisoner 102,218' Germans ' during- the period of the war. The Gennans have talcer. approximately 43,000 British prisoners, including Indians. The British have taken in all theatres during the period of the war 131,776, excluding African natives.
