WAIKAEAPA Y. WELLINGTON. In pre-war days tho fact that Wellington representatives wore playing Wai|arapa representatives wag sufficient to 'induce a large number of followers of the game to visit tho park, and they were usually well repaid in the sport provided. Since then, until the present year, interest has fallen away, chiefly because very few players with reputations have been playing, but a revival of interest is evi-' dent this season, when some excellent football has been seep, and there is every promise of exceedingly interesting contests in the remaining games to be played. This afternoon Wellington will bo opposed to a strong team from Wairarapa, and in addition to the principal game, visitors to Athletic Park will have the opportunity of 6ecing the Wellington schools' representative team opposed to the visiting Wiiirarap,a boys. For years past this match has provided a clever exhibition. Tho Wairarapa senior team is as under:—Borrill, M'Ewcn, B. Booth, Eichards, F. Booth. E. Booth, J. Donald, Eaison, Daysh. Hunger, Ealeigh, Sage, Knowles, and Pike. Mr. H. Paton will reforee.
