Mr. Hughes, federal Prime Minister, announced that the British Board of Trade had oll'ered a further .£IOOO, making the total reward JMOOO, in connection ivith tlio Cumberland explosion—Press Assn. [The Cumberland had to bo beached oft Gabo Island on .Tune G, owing to explosions in ono of- the holds. Subsequently sho was refloated, but sank while towed to Twofold Bay. It was previously reported that the Federal Government hart offered a roward of iC2OOO, and tlio New South Wales Government ,£IOOO, for information leading to 'tlio discovery of the alleged bomb plotters."!
