The fine bronze, "Le Lanceur de Grenades," presented to General Sir Andrew Kussell by the French when the New Zoalanders won the football -match in Paris' has been on show in the windows of Now Zealand House for some time. One hundred wounded New Zealandcrs were taken to the Albert Hall on June--24, and afterwards entertained at tiie Strand Corner House by Lady Hardwicke, Mrs. Pharazyn. Mrs. Dan Eiddiford. Mrs. Alan Strang, Mrs. Black, Mrs. Herbert Watson. Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Kebbel. Mrs. Crawford. Miss Eussell (daughter of Sir Andrew Eussell), and Miss Raymond (daughter of Mr. I. W. Eaymond).

Matron C. Anderson, "A.R.C., has returned to the New Zealand Convalescent Hospital at Hornckurch Camp after furlough in Scotland. Sister C. Young has also been to Scotland on leave..

Messrs. H. S. Ribbands and C. L. James, New Zealand E.F., have written and composed a song called "The Land of tliß Long White Cloud," -which lias been published by Messrs. "West and Co. Mr. Ribbands has written the words to several popular military songs, including"Strflce up that Band" and "Wo Shall Get There in Time."
