. USELESS RE-EXAMINATIONS? The re-examination of CI and C 2 men Under the Military Sorvice Act was tho subject of a ■ question' by Dr. Thacker in the Houso of Eepresentaties yesterday. ' He asked tho Minister of Defence whether he knew that there were men with "gross -surgical lesions such as rupture" who wore boing summoned to come to Wellington for re-examination. Sir' James Allen: 'I havo no knowledge of the details. All I know is that a , special medical board are going through the CI and C 2 men, and they are picking out the men who'they think should come up for medical re-examination. Dr. Thacker: It is useless for those men to be re-examined. . ,/■■ . > Sir James. Alien: I havo told you all I know about the matter.
