THE HINEMOA. Tho Hinemoa was to have left. Westport last .night for Kahurangi Point and Stephen Island, where Mr. O'Dcy, assistant lightUecper, who has resigned, -will l:c taken on hoard. If the weather is good at Kahurangi the Hinemoa should arrivehere on Friday night. The Eosamond is to leave Dunedin tomorrow for Wellington. The scow Hcpton, which was recently bought by a. Hokitika shipping firm for tho timber trade between the coast ana Wellington, cleared Lyttelton on Sunday evening for the West Coast. Tho Te Anau is due to-day from Timaru, en route to Auckland. The vessel is call-/ ing at Wellington for bunkering purposes only. Tho lighter Dorset, which foundered recently, is evidmly breaking up (states the Wftnganui "Chronicle"). The beach, from the Kiosk and up towards Kai Iwi, is becoming 6trewn with Quarters of heof, and a portion of the hull has also come ashore. The manager o! the Wjslport Coal Co. stateß that he has received no advice about tho ; steamer Canojus, arriving at Wellington shortly. As the Ifonowai is days lata on her running, it has been decided to omit Gisborne and Napier on ttw way south from Auckland. She is due here on Monday, and will sail on Tuesday for Lyttelton and Dunedin.
