Daigety and Co., Ltd., J.fastcrlon. report' having held a very auccesßful sale in the Tauhororiikau saleyards on Thursday, when there was a good attendance and a large entry of stock, which met with kcon competition, a.nd a good clearanco was made under the hammer at the following prices;— Prime fat wethers, 3Vs. lid.; mixed aged breeding ewes Co TJomnny and Lincoln rams, 225. j wooHy noggets, 20s. 3d.; potter rams. 19s. 9d.; two-year steers. £9 65.; weaners, £2 i9s. 6d., £5 135.. to £4; empty store cows, to £9; springing heifers, £7 10a., £8, £8 155., to £10 55.; springing dairy cows, £7 2s. 6d„ £8 55., £8 ',55.,.£9 65., £9 155., to £9 17s. 6d.; bulls, £7 10s.; medium three-year: draughts, £14 2s. 6d. MFssrs. Daigety and.Co., Ltd., report on their Wanganni sale on August 16:—Wo offered a good yarding of'sheep and cattle to a fair attendance, of buyers Competition • for sheep, particularly hoggets, was good, and wo cleared the bulk of our yarding under the 'hammer. Good hoggets made 285.; medium hoggets, 21s. 7d. to 25a.■ 6d.; cull hoggets, 13s. 4d. to i4s. 2d.; f'.m. ewes, iu lamb. 255. 3d.; small twotooth wethers, 265. Id. to 265. lid.; twentymonths heifers, £5; three-year Shorthorn heifers, in calf, £11 Is.; two-year Shorthorn heifers, empty cows, £7. 155.; forward cows, £9 55.; small Hereford wean'ers, £5 3s. At Waverley on August 17 wo had a fair yarding of sheep, principally hoggets, and a/ small one of cattle. Good woolly ewo hoggets made 325.; medium Line, skinned hoggets, 28s. 5d.; fat and forward wethers, 38s. Id.;, fat ewes, 365. 2d.; low-conditioned cows, in calf to Shorthorn bull. £6 18s.; small mixed weaners, £3 45..; light fat cows, £10 Us.; forward cows, £9 to £9 17s. 6d.
