N.Z. VETERANS
The monthly meeting of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Association of His Majesty's Veterans was held last evening, and was largely attended. The meeting passed a unanimous vote of thanks to the Government for the consideration shown to the veterans. After transacting the usual business and electing one new member the vice-president, Mr. G. B. ;Purdie, called on Captain Henry to relate some of his experiences in the Army. Captain Henry described scones in Egypt, India, and South Africa. Ho dealt in a most interesting way with barrack life, on the march, in camp, and in action. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Captain. Henry.
