Palmerston North, August IG. - A conference delegates from twentyfour butter factories to-day decided to hold a conference in Wellington on August 22, and afterwards to interview the Prime Minister on tho question of the (purchase of the butter output by the NewZealand or the Imperial Government., A committee appointed was authorised to offer to sell the batter output at a price on a parity with cheese, allowing threepence per pound on butter-fat as the difference between skim milk and whey, tut -was given a free hand to make the H>est arrangements in tho interests of the producers,
