WHEAT, OATS, AND BARLEY. (Eec. August 16,11.50 p.m.) London, August 16. The Pood Controller has fixed the maximum prices for British wheat as follows:—Delivery before December, 735. £d. per 5041b.; December-January, 7is. 6d.; February-March, 755. 6d.; AprilMay, 765. 9d.; June and after, 775. 6d. Oats, per 3361b.: Before December, Us. 3d.; December January, (ss. 3d.; Febru-ary-March, 4«s. 3d.; April-May, 475. 3d.; Jnme and after, 48s. Gd Barley, per 4.471b.: 625. 9d. at any time. The use of barley is not permitted except for seeds or flour, unless do.ni-aged.—Ans.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Jieuter.
