The Mayor presided. it was decided to proceed immediately with the Our Day" appeal in aid of the Red Cross Funds and Blind Soldiers' and Sailore' Fund, the appeal to close on October 18. Mr. T. Young and Mr. M; A. Carr wero appointed rice-chairmen. It was decided to call a meeting of the general committee for Monday next, when the report of the executive will bo submitted.
