All description's of frozen meat continue in good demand. New , Zealand, ■mutton, per lb., Sjd.; ewe" mutton, 84d.; tAnstralian mutton, lOaV; Argentine mutton. Md.; Argentine lamb,,Hd.; New ■Zealand beef, no supplies available; Argentine beef, quotations are nominal; 'hinds Ud., fores 10'» d. Butter —Market continues firm owing to continued small supplies. Danish but.ter, no supplies available; New Zealand stocks are exhausted; Canadian, Irish Jcreamery, Australian, and Argentine,-are selling freely at maximum prices, 20C3. s>er cwt; unsalted butter 3s. more. Cheese.—Market continues firm. English cheddar, per cwt., 1325. Quantity of Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, and States Plats has been released by .order of the Government at 130/Sd. on condition that retail price per lb. must mot, exceed Is. Id. Hemp.—Manila hemp market continues Srm. New Zealand market is quiet, but steady. Quotations are nominal.
