LADIES' ASSOCIATION. Tho competitions under the management o£ the Wellington ladies advanced another stage on Saturday. The grounds were in good condition; and fast play was the order of the day. , 1 Seniors. The contest between University A and College B was very fast throughout. Tlie College girls put up a- good fight, but had to give way to the older team, University winning by three goals to nil. The scorers were Misses Ellis, Eoatick, and Tarrant. Mr. E. Marshall was referee. In the match, Wellington Girls' College A v. Karablers B, the Girls' College had things all their own way. Playing with great dash and combination, they put on five goals in the first spell, and four in the second, thus winning by nine goals to nil. The scorers were Misses Goddis (•!■), Marchbanks (4), and Grant (1). Mr. Selig had charge of the game. Ramblers A won by default over University B. Juniors. In the first spell of the Te flro School v. St. Augustine's match, St. Augustine's for a time had Te Aro on the defensive, but could not got through. Both sides, playing witli good combination, had the ball travelling rapidly from end to end. Miss H. King, for St. Augustine's, was tho first to score. Getting the ball at the half-way lino the forwards parried play into (lie school circle, and Miss Kiiig, with a fine shot, found tho net. .Tust before half-time Miss P. Olson for tho school scored a nice goal. The spell ended one all.
