MOTOPJNG ACCIDENT
CAR SWEHTRS OFF fiOAD AKD OVERTUHNS. (By TelegraDh-Snecial Correspondent.* Wanganui, August 13. A motoring accident, the consequence! of which were fortunately less serious than they might have been, occurred on tho Turakina Hill. Mr. J. Hair, with Masters B. Hair, J. Cullinane, and E< Corlis, was returning from Wellington, and when coming down the hill into Wangaehii the car swerved and went over the sido of tho road, being brought up by a wire fence. In overturning it threw" the occupants out. Young Corlis suffered a broken thighbone, and the others wore considerably bruised and cut. Other motor parties passing the spot afforded relief and brought the sufferers into town.
