Iho Anglican Church lias decided upon the pohey of establishing its own day schools, in which a religious education will bo given to tho children along with an efficient secular one. 'Iho first school to 08 founded under this scheme will bo ppe'nod in St. Mark's Parish on September■ 11. Tho State School syllabus is to bo fdlowed.and the children will be taken »P to Hie Sixth Standard. \.u almost nomnial fee is to be charged, as the Wellington Diocesan Church Schools Board is giving an. annual subsidy towards tho undertaking.
