IMMIGRATION OF MEN AFTER SERVICE.
APPOINTMENT OP BOARD OP CONTROL RECOMMENDED. (Hec. August 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 11. Tho Empiro Settlement Committee recommend the appointment of a Central Board to control the immigration of exservice men, the board to consist of a chairman who shall devote his whole time to the subject, five members nominated by the Home Government, four by the overseas Dominions, with additional two members representing the States of Australia and the provinces of Canada, and five unofficial members. -Aus.-N.Z.
