BRITISH CAVALRY REPULSE BULGARIAN RAID IMPROVEMENT IN HEALTH OF TROOPS London, August 10. A British official report from Salonika states: Our cavalry repulsed a Bulgarian raid at Cucuruk. Wo bombed an aerodrome at Divunovo. There is a marked improvement in the health of the troops, and admissions to hospital are one-third loss than in 1916, ■while deaths from diseases are nearly two-thirds less. —Aus.-N.Z.
