Bartholomew) returned ii verdict of accidental death m the ease of the bov Douglas, aped three, who was drowned in one of the DrainasC Board's mud tanks. He added that the mud tanks and sratings were J-™™*" to Hie lives of children on the flat IHe tanks were positive death-traps. He was stronglv of opinion that steps should be taken to render the gratings more secure, and prevent their being misplaced by children and others.
