Sir.-After reading the staggering pro-, nosals made by the Finance Minister, I wi h to Hraw the attention of some just •md considerate members to see that, there is a very substantial allowance made for women farmers, as men owners are capable of doing so much moeona farm than a woman and more especially now that farm labour has to wonien-and to encourage them to tale up farming-there should be a special land tax concession allowed them. Jam quite sure that it is only an over-, sight on the part of Sir Joseph Ward, thai he has not included it in■'»'-* Budget prooosals.
