Messrs. llarcourt and Co. submitted at auction yesterday afternoon properties on behalf of tho Public Trustee. The Majoribanks Street and Adelaide Road residential properties wore nasscd in, and are now for private sale. For tho Scatoun sections thero was good bidding. Section 8 being sold by Mrs. Young at £100, Section 10 to Mr. Barnctt at £80. Section 4 to Mr Dorm3r at £180, Sections 13 and 15 to Mr. Shannon at £80 each. Section 21 to Mr. Osborn at £95, Section 23 to Mrs M'Girr at £90, and Section 29 to Mr Barnctt at £130. The remaining unsold sections aro now for sale at tho upset prioes, ranging from £100 in Newtown, to £270 for 66ft. x 165rt. in btaflord Street The firm also report that amongst other properties recently offered at auction by them they have sold: Eoiburgh Street, 95 x 40ft., with 3 houses at .£1525; Section 11, Princes Street,'Miramar, £120; No 120 Wallaco Street and 4 rooms, at £425: No. 5 Hinau Hoad, with 4-roomcd bungalow, at £700; Sections 3, 41 and 5, Ma(Ri.
