The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that at their Levin sale oil Tuesday a fair entry of sheep and cattle came forward, and a good clearance was effected. Small hoggets, 15s. 6d. to 16s. 2d.: medium hoggets, 215.; good condition b. f. hoggets, 255. Id. to 24a. Id.; light fat ewes and wethers, 345.; forward-condition cows, £8 to -£9 75.; good store cows. £7 4s. to £8; aged cows, '£3 10:*.; springing heifers, £9. Messrs. Dalgety and C 0.,. Ltd., report having offered a good yarding of sheep at Levin on Tuesday. Bidding was slovrr and several lots were passed at auction, but an entire clearance was made by the end of the sale. Quotations:— light fat wethers, 345. Id. to 375.; forward wethers, to 335. 9d.: store wethers. 275. 3d. to 31s. 6d.; mixed age ewes, in lamb, 265. 6d.: m.s. hoggets, 19s. 6d., 19s. 7d., 20s. lid., 225. 6d. to. 245.; cull hoggets, 65.; fat. heifers, £10 7s.
