F. A. Wood, M.C., N.Z.S.C, is appointed Mounted Rifles Instructor (on probation), Feathorston Camp. 4th (Waikato) Mounted Hides. Capt. Thomas Paterson, to be major. Serg-t. Eiven John. M'Gregor, to be 2nd lieutenant. 'sth Mounted Bifles (Otago Hussars). , 2nd Lieut. E. T. Shandi (on probation), to the Otago University Ofticors' Training Corps, and is granted tho temporary rank oi lieutenant whilst so employed, vice Capt. F. A. Wood, M.C., New Zealand Staff Corps. 7th (Southland) Mounted Eifles. John Carmichael Shand to be 2nd lieutenant (temporary). 10th (Nelson) Monnted Bifles. Captain Daniel Willis Talbot is appointed President, Courts-martial and Courts of Inquiry, N.Z. Expeditionary I'orco Training Gamps. Divisional Signal Companies. Sergt. Norman JM'Leod French to bo 2nd lieutenant (temporary) No. 2 Company, Otago.
Railway Battalions. Lieut. Robert Leslie Jamieson is dismissed His Majesty's Service by sentence of a Genoral Court-martial. New Zealand Post and Telegraph Corps (North Island). Lieut. Jomes Macraorran to be captain, under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913, witn seniority next below Captain G. J. W. Lockfe Lieut. Charles Edward Reid .to bo captain, under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Reflations, 1913. Ist (Canterbury) Regiment. Liout. Hugh Stewart, N.Z. Expeditionary Force, late Cth lung's Liverpool Regiment, is taken on 'tho strength of tho regiment, with the rank of lieutenant, with seniority next below lieutenant John Lawson Turnbull. sth (Wellington) Regiment. William Henry Neville Amos to be lieutenant (temporary). Honorary Lieut. Thomas Joseph Davis (Retired List) is posted to the regiment for duty, with the temporary rank of captain whilst 6o employed. 11th R-egiment (Taranaki Rifles). Major John Wallace Brunt is appointed Camp Adjutant, Tauherenikau Camp, loth (North Auckland) Regiment. The commission granted Lieut. Nowlan Francis Knight is cancelled under the provisions of Section 5 (a) of the Defence Act, 1909. ' 16th (Waikato) Regiment. The appointment- of Lieut. Reginald Henry Macdonald is terminated, he having been, granted a commission in tho Imperial Army. New Zealand Army Service Corps. 2nd Lieut, on probation (temporary Liout.) Frederick Charles Gentry is granted tho temporary rank of captain, whilst omployed as officer-in-chargo supplies, Buckle Street. Motor-car Section, Otago. Lieut. Dennieton Cuthbertson resigns his commission. William Reginald Hudson to be 2nd lieutenant (ou. probation). Motor-car Section, Auckland. Lieut. James Marsden Caughey is appointed district railway transport olhcer, Auckland Military District. New Zealand Medical Corps. The undermentioned are appointed members of a Special District Medical Board, and granted the pay of lieuten-ant-colonel" at Expeditionary l'orce rates whilst'so actiag.-Capt. Peter Oow, M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P., Lond.; Capt. William Stewart. M.8., 8.5., Glass.; Capt. Stanley Eric Vincent Brown, M.13., a.b., 5.Z., FJLC.S., Bug. Capt. Dugald George Matheson, Js.i. Expeditionary Force, is Struck oft the strength and absorbed with his original rank and seniority, viz., lieutenant. Now Zealand Army Nursing Service.
