TRAMWAY REVENUE
STEADY GROWTH OF TRAFFIC. The tramway returns as submitted to the Tramways Committee yesterday, show a steady growth on the figures for last year. For the four weeks ended July '21 an increase of <£1009 is shown in revenue, and an increase of .«£615 in working expenses. For the sixteen weeks of the current financial year the increase in revenue just manages to keep ahead of the increase in working expenses. In the first instance th increase is .£2877, ,and in-tho latter «£223 i.
