COLD AND CHANGEABLE
Tho present outlook promises cold and changeable weather. Yesterday opened briglit and sunny, but tho sky grew greyer as the day woro 011, and maw chill was in the southerly. According to the official prediction of the Meteorological Department, easterly and south-easterly winds will prevail, moderate to strong generally. Passing showers in the north and Eftst Coast districts of tho Nortl ' Island, where conditions are still somewhat threatening.
