Rome, .August 3. According to the Athens correspondent of the newspaper "II Seeoio," a Greek Consul from Constantinople states that two '.Turkish divisions from the Dobruja and Galicia have been sont to Mesopotamia, well equipped with heavy artillery. Austrian and other troops will follow them. General von Falkenhayn. intends to make a great effort to recapture Bagdad in September. Another report states that huge Turkish forces are being concentrated at Halop, for use either in Mesopotamia or at Gaza as the circumstances warrant.--Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
TURKISH DESERTERS IN THE CAUCASUS.
London, August 3. A well-informed source announces that there have been numerous desertions among the Turkish troops in tho Caucasus (Asia Minor).
