DISPERSAL SALE OF PEDIGHEE FRIESIAN STOCK.

An important dispersal sale of pedigree Friesian and appendix'and grade Friesian dairy cattle is being held on account of Mr. W. Remnant at hi 3 homestead, IV Matai, two miles from Palinerstoii North, on August 8. Tho stud cattle to be offered comprise 4 cows; holding -semi-official records, 6 two and three-year heifers, 3 yearling- heifers, and 6 bulls. Included in tho cataloguo is the imported cow Golantha Johanna. Buttercup (S.O. record at three years, 14,726.31b. milk, 517.31b. fat), who was sired by the great bull Colantha Johanna Lad,.who claims no less than 80 A.E.O. daughters and 40 proven sons. Other females of particular note are iho nve-year-old cow Lady Johanna Picbe do Kol (S.O. record at two years, 16,0991b. millc, 452.51b. fat), Pietcrtjo Colantha (S.O. record at three years. 11.5571b. milk, 401.961b fat), and Lady Oak Pif>ho Pietertjo do Kol (S.O. record at two years, 11,8331b. milk, 376.211b. fat). Tho main herd of dairy cows is crmprißod of 30 appendix cows and heifers. 48 grade Friesian cows and heifers, and' l<l crossbred cows, and these have all Veen bred to pedigreo bulls, and are principally August and September calvcrs. Owing to tho vendor being unable to procure labour ho has decided to sell tho -whole of tho stock with tho exception of tho stud animals and young stook absolutely without resorvo, and tho sale should afford an excellent opportunity to dairy farmers to secure ohoico cattlo at ordinary crossbred cow rates.
