Harry Norton. plasterer, of Northland, proceeded against J. ltiley, liis neighbour, to recover dainages for constructing a ti'cneh on his land, thereby leading water on to Norton's property. The heavy rain experienced recently had flooded the plaintifl's ground. The Magistrate held that the defendant had done some work qji Ilia property and that contributed to the damage alleged. Judgment was given for plaintifl for 40s. and costs. Mr. P. 11. Putnam appeared for plaintiff and Mr. E. M. Beeehey for defendant. Ellen- Reedy, of llawkestono . Crescent, widow, proceeded against'' Louis Reginald Marsh, of Plpitea Street, labourer.' and Annie Marsh, his wife, to recovcr £11 13a., for rent and damage to property.
