INCREASE IN RAILWAY AND TRAM FARES
(Rec. August 1, 10.55 p.m.) Sydney, August 1. Tho Legislative Council has adopted the Railway Commissioners' recommendations for an increase in the railway fares of 10 per cent., and on freights generally.. The. tram fares will be raised one halfpenny on a single section from August B—Press Assn.
