BELGIAN FAMILY BUTCIiKRED AT LIEGE. (Rec. August 1, 3 p.m.) Amsterdam, July 31. The Germans sentenced to death at Liege a merchant, his wife, and two daughters on an unproved charge of espionage. They shot the parents in the presence of their daughters, and offered to reprieve the girls if they revealed their parents' accomplices. The eiier girl refused, and was shot, and tlio younger was tortured, outraged, and finally shot.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Asbn.
