■ YESTEBDAYfS APPEALS. .. The Third Wellington Military Service Board oontinucd its sessions in Wellington, yesterday:. .'Mr. H. J. Beswick prosided, and with Trim were Mcs6rs. M. J. Mack and A. O'L. Considine. . Tho appeal of John -Welsh,- a Marist brother, was adjourned till Friday.. Adjournments sine die were granted in the oases of the following Roman Catholic priests:—James. Eecleton, Hugh. L. Macdonnell, and Michael M.O'Dwyer. The, appeal made on behalf of Aloysms Philip Jell'cott, theological student, was dismissed, -with a recommendation that Jeffcott be drafted to tho Medical Corps. ' In the caso of the Kev. Thos. Weller, of Ohakune, the board mode an adjournment for medical examination. - James William Scott satisfied the board th4t 'he was not a'reservist, inasmuch as ho was a soldier discharged from the Forces on account of ;ill-health. His appeal was allowed. Three .months' leave- of absence, was granted Pte. I'. E. Green,, of the Twentyninth Reinforcements. Corporal A.. .1. Smith, of the same reinforcements, was granted leavo till September 19. ;'.'-..-■ , Pte. S. W. Fitzsiminons,. m camp at Trentham, was allowed one months leave. ~ ■ James Eyau, slaughterman, .produced proof that lie was under twonty years of a"c, and tho board allowed his appeal.. The case of .Gebrge.Falc.oner, slaughterman, of Duhcdin. was adjourned sine dio An appeal made by the.employer of I John Thompson, son teller, of Waikanae, was adjourned sine die. - '• - The appeal of Arthur Brown, labourer, was dismissed. .'. Appellant-was granted leave till August .22: . ■ . . William Allon, cabinetmaker, of Lower Hutt, was granted leavo till September 19. Thomas Kecves, farmer, of Paparnngl, Johnsoiiviljey had bis caso adjourned till tho end of October. " Leave till September .19 was granted Josonh W.
