■ YESTEBDAYfS APPEALS. .. The Third Wellington Military Service Board oontinucd its sessions in Wellington, yesterday:. .'Mr. H. J. Beswick prosided, and with Trim were Mcs6rs. M. J. Mack and A. O'L. Considine. . Tho appeal of John -Welsh,- a Marist brother, was adjourned till Friday.. Adjournments sine die were granted in the oases of the following Roman Catholic priests:—James. Eecleton, Hugh. L. Macdonnell, and Michael M.O'Dwyer. The, appeal made on behalf of Aloysms Philip Jell'cott, theological student, was dismissed, -with a recommendation that Jeffcott be drafted to tho Medical Corps. ' In the caso of the Kev. Thos. Weller, of Ohakune, the board mode an adjournment for medical examination. - James William Scott satisfied the board th4t 'he was not a'reservist, inasmuch as ho was a soldier discharged from the Forces on account of ;ill-health. His appeal was allowed. Three .months' leave- of absence, was granted Pte. I'. E. Green,, of the Twentyninth Reinforcements. Corporal A.. .1. Smith, of the same reinforcements, was granted leavo till September 19. ;'.'-..-■ , Pte. S. W. Fitzsiminons,. m camp at Trentham, was allowed one months leave. ~ ■ James Eyau, slaughterman, .produced proof that lie was under twonty years of a"c, and tho board allowed his appeal..
