I would remind "H/W." that thousands of (lie "Great Unwashed" have gone !o tight, to protect his interests and property; also, many of our tfliccrs liine hceii drawn from tlio ranks oj .-Ijn "Croat Unwashed," including the late Brigadier-General Brown. Re'tnlls as that the men brought pressure to bear on tho employers, to exploit thorn. Really, it is humorous, for wo all know which side does tho exploiting. J Jie verdict of the Magistrate's Court dees not seem to suit "H.AV/'-evidently nothing less than tho usual eleven months would satisfy him. No doubt tue Magistrate realised it was necessary to uso discretion in dealing with the men, even though, they woro only gas-retort work- '!' propose that "H.AV." .docs eleven months himself (not in prison), tut as a stoker at tho gas worts, and I guess lie would have little to say about tho venters exploiting their employers at the end of that time. I also notice that H.W. advocates precipitating a general striKe. How's that for sedition and tho usual eleven months to follow?
